Paolo is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in IT sourcing and supplier management. Currently, he is the Head of Technology & Innovation Procurement at DFDS, where he leads the strategic procurement of IT solutions, drives innovation, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. His role encompasses strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations to deliver value and cost efficiencies. Previously, Paolo honed his expertise in category management and strategic sourcing through leadership roles at Nokia, IKEA, and Barclays.

"Every working day is different in IT Procurement. I enjoy creating sourcing strategies, scanning the market, learning about new technologies, agreeing go-to-market approach with business partners, negotiating with suppliers and the feeling of achievement when a complex deal is finalized. But the part of my job that I like the most is the great opportunity to work with many skilled individuals and build good and long-lasting relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers. And lately I also love to pass on to younger colleagues what I have learned in several years of IT procurement work"
