In this session two real-world use cases from IT agreements will be used to illustrate both successes and failures. The focus will be on what strategies worked, what didn’t, and how to approach similar challenges moving forward. The session will provide actionable insights into improving negotiation tactics and decision-making processes in IT procurement. It will provide a deeper understanding of how to enhance the effectiveness of IT agreements, navigate key challenges in vendor negotiations, and make more informed procurement decisions. Practical approaches for applying these insights within organizations will be discussed, relevant to both IT procurement professionals and C-level executives. In this session you will learn:
I’ve spent over 10 years navigating various roles in IT, including SAM Manager, Head of IT, CEO, and now Head of Procurement. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science and an Executive MBA. My experience spans multiple sectors, including banking, telecommunications, telematics, and retail. Procurement and negotiations are my true passions, where I focus on practical solutions over theory. I believe the best learning comes from real-life experiences, especially from mistakes. My journey is about hands-on leadership, continual learning, and driving results through strategic decision-making.
The Pop in my job: The continuous challenge to split it evenly, not just split it in half.
