Since I started with IT professionally in 1998 I have had the goal never to stop develop myself and pushing my limits. I'm always looking for opportunities to make whatever situation I'm into something better using the capabilities of the team.
By understanding the goals and values of an organization, I truly believe we can make a difference using technology, knowledge and some common sense. My creativity works best while constrained by what the goals and technology stipulates, since it creates a challange.
In my past professional roles I have had the opportunity to develop my passion for both business and technology and how they depend on each other. It doesn't really matter if it is creating a cloud strategy together with a customer, building an effective operations process or helping my team develop. I love to inspire and create value together with others.
I joined Insight to be a part of the journey we are on together with our partners and customers to leverage the innovative technologies and business models we have seen take form over the last couple of years. I am an experienced and passionate professional, with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, both in sales, channel management and consulting. Working for Insight since 2014, responsible for the delivery of Insight’s SAM solutions in North-East Europe.
With a background of almost 15 years in IBM, I started my consulting career at Insight in creating an EMEA practice for IBM License Consulting and Optimization in Insight. With the team we have saved millions of Euros and Dollars, both in EMEA and in the USA, in optimizing IBM software contracts and helped survive clients in IBM audits.
In 2020, I took over a broader responsibility to lead the fantastic team of SAM and License Optimization consultants in the Netherlands, and at a later stage this was expanded to the North-East region of EMEA. With this team we help clients to optimize their software- and cloud investments, guide them on their FinOps journey. Everything to make sure we jointly achieve the cost savings to enable our clients to further expand on their digital transformation.
